This month is Fire Safety Month and we celebrated it by having a visit from Fire Station 52.
(We found out about this awesome visit just a few days ago and we couldn't say no! The class was very excited!!)
The firefighters came and discussed what their jobs are at the fire station and in the truck. They showed the students all the tools that are packed neatly away and hidden in compartments on the truck. Then they allowed each student to go inside, this was their favorite part!! They looked all over before being helped out of the truck. :) Then ended their visit by taking a class photo with us and answering any questions the students had.
